For the first time in the Greater Toronto Area — 108 couples gather inside a living yantra to chant the Ganapati mantra 1008 times around the sacred Yagna Kund, raising the foundation for a Ganapati temple in India.
A yantra is not decoration — it is a living instrument of sound and geometry. To be seated within one, as a chanting point of light, is an opportunity most devotees never receive in a lifetime.
Most people offer prayers toward a yantra. Here, each couple is a coordinate within it — a living node in a resonant geometric field. The arrangement only works because you are in it.
A single Central Lotus Kund anchors all 108 couples. When 216 voices chant ॐ गं गणपतये नमः in unison around the sacred Yagna Kund, individual prayer dissolves into a single breathing organism of devotion.
This gathering is part of a global journey toward One Crore (10 million) prayers for world peace. A yantra of this kind, in Toronto, with the consecrated Pancha Datu Ganapati present — is not an annual event.
The Sahasra Parayana is the collective recitation of the Ganapati moola mantra 1008 times. Its sound vibrations, multiplied by a thousand voices, are said to remove obstacles, bring clarity and prosperity, and — by honouring Lord Ganesha — honour our parents and forefathers, opening the gateway to their blessings.
A single Lotus Kund burns at the centre. The yantra is drawn on the ground in concentric rings, and the 108 couples are seated as living souls within it — the mantra placed at the four sacred gates, radiating inward to the flame.
The Bindu of the yantra. One 8-petalled lotus fire pit holds the highest concentration of energy — the spiritual battery for the whole field.
Seated closest to the flame on the first drawn circle of the yantra.
The second concentric band — the broad shoulder of the mandala.

Every couple chants the same mantra and receives the same blessing. Your contribution reflects your ring within the yantra — and the sacred gifts you carry home.
The blessing of the consecrated Pancha Datu KotiGanapati · a set of 5 KotiGanapati images (wallet, home altar, car & gifting) · prasadam · blessed kumkum & akshata · a printed & digital participation certificate. Each higher ring adds more, as below.
All amounts are devotional contributions, not ticket purchases. 100% of proceeds support the construction of the Ganapati temple in India. As funds go directly to the temple, a Canadian charitable tax receipt is not issued. Coins and statues are Pancha Datu (five sacred metals) or similar.
This gathering is not an end in itself. Every voice raised in Toronto and every donation offered becomes a brick in a permanent temple for Lord Ganesha in India.
Donations are invited for the construction of the KotiGanapati Ashram — dedicated to the care of abandoned newborn girl children and abandoned senior citizens (parents); the teaching of MantraYoga, MantraVaidyam, Meditation, and Yoga; the establishment of a School of Mantras and Vedic Education; and the continuous performance of MahaYagnam for World Peace, Universal Welfare, and the well-being of all living beings.
The collective resonance of 108 couples lays both the energetic and the financial foundation of that sanctuary — a legacy of devotion and global peace that will outlast all of us, carried forward for generations.
When you sit in the yantra, you are not attending an event. You are helping raise a sanctuary that will stand long after August 2 has passed.
Be Part of the FoundationThe consecrated five-metal KotiGanapati travels to Toronto to bless every couple in person.
