A Once-in-a-Lifetime Threshold

Why Sitting Inside a Yantra Is So Rare

A yantra is not decoration — it is a living instrument of sound and geometry. To be seated within one, as a chanting point of light, is an opportunity most devotees never receive in a lifetime.

You Become the Yantra

Most people offer prayers toward a yantra. Here, each devotee is a coordinate within it — a living node in a resonant geometric field. The arrangement only works because you are in it.

🜂

One Fire, One Breath

A single Central Lotus Kund anchors all 108 devotees. When every voice chants ॐ गं गणपतये नमः in unison around the sacred Yagna Kund, individual prayer dissolves into a single breathing organism of devotion.

It May Never Repeat

Madurai has carried unbroken temple worship for centuries. To seat a living Ganapati yantra in that city, with the consecrated Pancha Datu Ganapati present, is a rare moment even here.

The Heart of the Ritual
ॐ गं गणपतये नमः
Om Gām Gaṇapataye Namaḥ

The Sahasra Parayana MahaYagna is the collective recitation of the Ganapati moola mantra 1008 times. Its sound vibrations, multiplied by a thousand voices, are said to remove obstacles, bring clarity and prosperity, and — by honouring Lord Ganesha — honour our parents and forefathers, opening the gateway to their blessings.

How the Yantra Is Arranged

A single Lotus Kund burns at the centre. The yantra is drawn on the ground in concentric rings, and the 108 devotees are seated as living souls within it — the mantra placed at the four sacred gates, radiating inward to the flame.

Central Lotus Kund

9 anchor devotees · 9 high pandits

The Bindu of the yantra. One 8-petalled lotus fire pit holds the highest concentration of energy — the spiritual battery for the whole field.

Inner Ring

24 devotees

Seated closest to the flame on the first drawn circle of the yantra.

Middle Ring

33 devotees

The second concentric band — the broad shoulder of the mandala.

Outer Ring

42 devotees

The outermost circle inside the four-gated boundary (bhupura).

Mantra placement: The mantra ॐ गं गणपतये नमः is inscribed at the four gates of the yantra — North, East, South and West. Chanting begins at the Central Lotus Kund and ripples outward through each ring like waves in a pond, so every voice lands on every repetition together. As each offering is given into the sacred fire, the mantra is sealed with ॐ गं गणपतये स्वाहा (Om Gam Ganapataye Swaha) — the Swaha of the Homam — while the surrounding Parayana is chanted with Namaha. Each couple is seated on a clean mat at their coordinate; the rings are drawn in the ground, keeping the space safe and serene.
Your Place in the Yantra

Every Devotee, One Blessing

There are no ticket prices and no levels. Every devotee chants the same mantra, sits inside the same yantra, and receives the same blessing — couples and single devotees are equally welcome.

✦ By Invitation Only ✦

Every Devotee Receives

The blessing of the consecrated Pancha Datu KotiGanapati · a set of 5 KotiGanapati images (wallet, home altar, car & gifting) · prasadam · blessed kumkum & akshata · a printed & digital participation certificate.

🪔

The Sacred Kund

Approximately the equivalent of $100 is spent on each kund — the samagri, ghee, wood, flowers and offerings placed into the sacred fire, and the pandits who tend it through the Parayana.

🙏

Offered in Devotion

We are not selling tickets. Devotees who wish to sustain the gathering are welcome to offer a contribution in that spirit — or whatever the heart allows. Nothing is required to take your seat.

🛕

Where It Goes

100% of proceeds support the construction of the KotiGanapati Temple in India — the eternal home of the MahaYagnam. As funds go directly to the temple, a local charitable tax receipt is not issued.

Every amount is a recommended offering only, given in devotion. Coins and statues gifted to devotees are Pancha Datu (five sacred metals) or similar.

The Reason We Gather

Building a Home for Ganapati in India

This gathering is not an end in itself. Every voice raised in Madurai and every offering given becomes a brick in a permanent temple for Lord Ganesha in India.

The KotiGanapati Temple

Donations are invited for the construction of the KotiGanapati Temple — dedicated to the care of abandoned newborn girl children and abandoned senior citizens (parents); the teaching of MantraYoga, MantraVaidyam, Meditation, and Yoga; the establishment of a School of Mantras and Vedic Education; and the continuous performance of MahaYagnam for World Peace, Universal Welfare, and the well-being of all living beings.

The collective resonance of 108 devotees lays both the energetic and the financial foundation of that sanctuary — a legacy of devotion and global peace that will outlast all of us, carried forward for generations.

When you sit in the yantra, you are not attending an event. You are helping raise a sanctuary that will stand long after October 25 has passed.
