A legacy of faith, a life of service, a purpose divine — the founder and spiritual guide of the KotiGanapati MahaYagnam.

Guruji Dr. Satish Sikha is the visionary and spiritual force behind the KotiGanapati MahaYagnam. With the blessings of Ma Kali, he set Lord Ganesha's global mission in motion — a journey across all seven continents dedicated to the peace and upliftment of all humanity.
His life unites an extraordinary public journey with a deep ancestral heritage of devotion, yagnas, and selfless service — a heritage that, the family holds, is the very reason he was born for this mission.
A lineage of faith and service stretching back nine centuries.
Guruji Dr. Satish Sikha's forefathers established their own Ganapati Temple at Visweswara Agraharam, Amalapuram, Andhra Pradesh — where Lord Shiva and Amma Parvathi are also worshipped. This temple has been well known for centuries.
Around 900 years ago, the family received the surname Sikha because their forefathers were known for keeping long hair. The 9th-generation forefather, a revered Vedic scholar, dedicated most of his life to performing yagnas. Visitors seeking him would ask for "Sikha Garu" — a reference to the long hair tied as a bun (sikha) on the head.
While cultivating land, the 6th-generation forefather discovered a Yagna Kundam, and even found a small amount of gold.
That gold was used selflessly to construct a Cheruvu (pond), which served the entire village community — an early expression of the family's spirit of service.
These ancestral blessings and sacred acts are, the family holds, the reasons why Guruji Dr. Satish Sikha is born for the KotiGanapati MahaYagnam — carrying forward the legacy of yagnas and spiritual service to humanity.

Beyond the ancestral temple lineage, Guruji Dr. Satish Sikha has carried his spirit of service onto the world stage — as a humanitarian, environmentalist, and founder of the 90MillionSmiles Foundation.
An Indian-born Canadian, Dr. Sikha was a celebrated haute-couture fashion designer before a profound shift in priorities turned his life toward service. He founded the 90MillionSmiles Foundation to support underprivileged children across India, with a vision of gathering the positive energy of millions of children toward world peace and happy, healthy kids.
His humanitarian work spans free food, education, healthcare, wheelchairs, and care for orphaned children and senior citizens. His environmental campaigns — including a kilometre-long eco-handwoven silk fabric carrying messages from over a thousand global dignitaries — have been honoured internationally, including a Certificate of Honour from the Ministry of Nature, Environment and Tourism of Mongolia and an honorary doctorate for his environmental service.
All these streams — ancestral devotion, humanitarian service, and global vision — now flow together in the KotiGanapati MahaYagnam: one crore prayers from one crore devotees, for the peace and well-being of all living beings.
